A space is a room or area of your property — Kitchen, Bedroom, Garden — and a floor is a storey that groups spaces. Organizing scenes into spaces keeps a tour tidy in the editor, labels scenes for you, and is what the floor plan and 3D view are built from: each space becomes one room on the plan.
Spaces are optional for a simple tour. You can upload scenes without one and group them later.
Adding a space
- In the right-hand panel, open Spaces & Floors (it's just Spaces if your tour has a single floor).
- Click Add space. You can also use the Add space pill above the scene strip. If the tour is empty, the editor offers Create your first space instead.
- Enter a Name, such as Kitchen.
- Choose a Category: Kitchen, Bedroom, Bathroom, Living room, Hall, Dining room, Garden, Balcony, Terrace, Garage or Other.
- Choose Indoor or Outdoor. Outdoor spaces such as gardens, balconies and terraces are drawn as open ground, with no walls or ceiling, in the 3D view. New spaces start with your tour's indoor/outdoor setting.
- On a multi-floor tour, pick the Floor the space is on.
- Click Add space.
Putting scenes into a space
- When uploading: select a space first, then drag your panoramas onto the upload strip. They land in that space.
- For an existing scene: select the scene, then choose a space from the Space dropdown in the Scene Inspector. On multi-floor tours the options show the floor too, such as "1st Floor · Bedroom", so two spaces with the same name stay distinguishable.
- Not sure yet? Leave a scene as Unassigned. It appears under the Ungrouped pill in the scene strip.
Use the space pills above the scene strip to show just one space's scenes, and drag the pills to change the order of your spaces.
In the Scene Inspector, Auto-generate next to the scene title builds a title from the scene's space and position. Assign the scene to a space first.
Editing and deleting a space
- Open Spaces & Floors and choose Edit space to change its name, category, indoor/outdoor setting or floor.
- Choose Delete space to remove it. Its scenes are kept but become ungrouped, and its floor-plan outline is deleted. This can't be undone.
Floors
The floor controls appear when you answered Yes, multi-floor to "Multiple floors?" while creating the tour.
- In Spaces & Floors, click Above or Below next to Add floor. DEKO360 suggests a name such as Ground Floor, 1st Floor or Basement, and you can rename it at any time.
- Assign each space to a floor when you create or edit it.
- Use Move floor up and Move floor down to set the order. The order decides how floors are stacked in the 3D view.
- Use the Floor pills above the scene strip to show one floor's spaces at a time, or All floors to see everything.
Delete floor removes the floor only. Its spaces are kept but are no longer on any floor, and scenes and outlines aren't deleted. This can't be undone.
Tips
- Create your spaces before uploading, so each batch of panoramas lands in the right room.
- Give spaces on different floors distinct names where you can, such as "Master bedroom" and "Guest bedroom".
- To keep a scene in the tour but off the floor plan and 3D model, turn on Exclude from floor plan and 3D view in its Scene Inspector.
