Checking Your Storage Usage

Your plan includes a fixed amount of storage for your tours and albums. This guide shows where to see how much you're using, what counts toward it, and what to do when you're running low.

Where to see your usage

The storage meter is at the bottom of the sidebar. It shows a bar and a line such as "1.2 GB of 2 GB used", next to your plan name. It updates when you add or delete things.

Storage by plan

Plan Storage
Free 1GB
Individual 2GB
Creator 10GB
Agency 50GB

Storage is pooled across every workspace you own. Creating more workspaces doesn't add more. Things created by people you've invited count against your plan, not theirs.

What counts

The meter shows the real size of what you've stored:

  • Scene panoramas. The original file you upload for each scene counts at its actual size. The extra files DEKO360 creates when it processes a scene don't count.
  • Tour images. A tour's logo, custom nadir patch and featured image.
  • Your profile photo.
  • VR images that are in an album. A VR image counts at its original size, once, while it's in at least one of your albums. Putting it in a second album doesn't count it again.
  • Not counted: VR images that aren't in any album, and views of your tours — views are unlimited on every plan.

The meter is the same number DEKO360 checks when you upload, so it won't show room that an upload then refuses.

Freeing up space

  • Delete tours you no longer need. Open the tour in the editor and use Delete tour in the Danger zone at the bottom of the side panel.
  • Delete scenes you don't need, using the trash icon on a scene's thumbnail.
  • Take VR images out of albums, or delete the album. The images themselves aren't deleted, and a VR image that isn't in an album doesn't count.
  • Upgrade under Settings → Billing for more storage.

Deleting something frees its space, and the meter goes back down. If the meter still looks too high after you've deleted files, contact support and we can recalculate it.

If you go over your limit

New uploads that would push you over your storage limit are blocked, and the app tells you "Storage limit exceeded". If your account stays over its limits, it can become read-only until you free space or upgrade. See If Your Account Is Over Its Plan Limits and Troubleshooting Uploads & Processing.
