Available on the Individual plan and above. If you want to share a tour with only people who know a password — a client preview, a private listing — you can require one before anyone can view it.
Setting a password
- Open your tour in the editor.
- Click empty space (no scene selected) so the right-hand panel shows Tour Properties.
- In the Who can view this? panel, choose Password.
- Enter a password in Set a password. It must be at least 4 characters.
- Click Publish (or Save access if the tour is already live).
Visitors now see a password prompt before the tour loads. The tour itself isn't otherwise changed, and the direct link and the embed code both respect the password.
Changing the password
- Open Who can view this? on the tour.
- With Password selected, type the new password in New password (leave it blank to keep the current one).
- Click Save access.
Removing password protection
Choose a different audience — for example Public or Private — and click Save access. Setting a password again later means choosing Password and entering one.
Good to know
- Password protection is one of several audiences. See Who Can View Your Tour to compare it with Private and Specific people.
- It works for tours, VR images and albums.
- On the Free plan, items can only be Public or Draft. If your account returns to Free, password-protected items are switched to Draft.
