## Managing scenes

Every panorama you upload becomes a scene in your tour. Scenes appear as a strip of thumbnails along the bottom of the editor.

- **Select a scene** by clicking its thumbnail — it loads into the main viewer above.
- **Rename a scene** by selecting it, then editing the **Scene title** field in the right-hand panel.
- **Reorder** isn't needed for navigation (hotspots define how visitors move between scenes), but the strip order is the sequence you and your team see while editing.
- **Delete a scene** using the trash icon that appears on hover over its thumbnail. This also removes any hotspots that pointed to it — double-check nothing important still links there first.
- **Add more scenes** any time by dragging new panoramas onto the "+" tile at the end of the strip.

Each scene shows a small status indicator while it's uploading and processing (queued → processing → ready). If processing fails, a **Reprocess** option appears so you can retry — see [Troubleshooting Uploads & Processing](https://help.deko360.com/hc/user-guide/articles/troubleshooting-uploads-and-processing).

## Placing hotspots

Hotspots are the clickable markers that let a visitor walk from one scene to another.

1. Select the scene you want to add a hotspot to.
2. Click **Add Hotspot** in the toolbar above the viewer.
3. Click anywhere on the 360° panorama to drop a marker at that spot — typically a doorway, staircase, or opening.
4. In the hotspot list on the right, choose the **Destination** scene from the dropdown.

A hotspot with no destination selected is marked **Unlinked** — visitors can see the marker but clicking it won't take them anywhere, so make sure every hotspot you place gets a destination.

## Removing a hotspot

Open the hotspot list in the right-hand panel and click the trash icon next to the hotspot you want to remove.

## Building a walkable tour

Think of hotspots as doors: if a visitor can walk from the Living Room into the Kitchen, place a hotspot in the Living Room scene pointing to the Kitchen — **and** one in the Kitchen scene pointing back to the Living Room. Tours feel best when every connection works both ways.
