**Available on the Agency plan.**

A custom domain lets your tours, VR images and albums open from your own address — for example `tours.youragency.com` — instead of only deko360.com. Your existing deko360.com links keep working, so nothing you've already shared breaks.

A custom domain belongs to one [workspace](https://help.deko360.com/hc/user-guide/articles/understanding-workspaces), and each workspace can have one. It serves only that workspace's content.

## Before you start

- You need access to the DNS settings of the domain you want to use, usually through your domain registrar or DNS provider.
- A **subdomain** such as `tours.youragency.com` works with any DNS provider.
- A **root domain** such as `youragency.com` also works, but only if your DNS provider supports CNAME flattening (or ALIAS/ANAME records) at the root. If you're unsure, use a subdomain.
- You must be the workspace owner.

## Connecting your domain

1. Open **Workspace settings** from the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar, and find the **Custom domain** section.
2. Enter your domain in the **Domain** field, for example `tours.youragency.com`, and click **Connect domain**.
3. DEKO360 shows **Add these DNS records at your domain provider**, a table with a **Type**, **Name** and **Value** for each record:
   - a **CNAME** record that points your domain to DEKO360, and
   - sometimes a **TXT** record that proves you own the domain.
4. Add those records exactly as shown at your domain provider.
5. Back in DEKO360, click **Verify now**.

DNS changes can take a few minutes, sometimes longer. If the status doesn't change right away, wait a bit and click **Verify now** again.

## Checking the status

Each domain shows one of three statuses:

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **Waiting for DNS** | DEKO360 hasn't found your records yet. Check them, then click **Verify now**. |
| **Active** | The domain is connected and serving your workspace. HTTPS is set up for you. |
| **Failed** | Something went wrong. The error is shown under the records. Fix it and click **Verify now**. |

Click **Verify now** at any time, even on an active domain, to re-check it after you change your DNS.

## Using your domain

Once the domain is **Active**:

- Your workspace's tours, VR images and albums open on your domain as well as on deko360.com.
- In the editor, the **Copy embed** dialog has a **Domain** choice. Pick your domain to put it in the embed code instead of deko360.com. See [Embedding Your Tour](https://help.deko360.com/hc/user-guide/articles/embedding-your-tour).
- Links you've already shared on deko360.com keep working.

## Sending visitors somewhere when they open the bare domain

By default, opening the domain itself (for example `https://tours.youragency.com/`) shows a 404, because only tour, VR image and album links are served. To send those visitors to your website instead:

1. In the **Custom domain** section, find **Redirect** for your domain.
2. Enter a full address starting with `http://` or `https://`, such as `https://youragency.com`.
3. Click **Save**.

Tour links keep working as usual. Leave the field empty to remove the redirect. The address can't point back to the domain itself.

## Changing or removing a domain

- Click **Remove** next to the domain to disconnect it. Existing deko360.com links are unaffected.
- Because a workspace can have one custom domain, remove the current one before connecting a different one.
- If your account leaves the Agency plan, you can still see and remove your domain, but you can't change it.

## Troubleshooting

- **"That doesn't look like a valid domain."** Enter just the hostname, such as `tours.youragency.com`, without `https://` or any path.
- **"That domain can't be used."** The address is reserved. Use a different one.
- **"That domain is already connected to a workspace."** It's in use by another workspace. Remove it there first, or use a different address.
- **"Couldn't reach our domain provider."** Try again in a moment.
- **Still "Waiting for DNS".** Check that the record **Name** and **Value** match exactly what DEKO360 shows, that you've added every record in the table (including any TXT record), and that your DNS provider has finished publishing the change.
